Both Junior (5 year contract) and senior applicants are encouraged to apply for posts beginning in 2012 in experimental biophysics.
We value strong interdisciplinary interactions within and outside our Department, in particular with cell and developmental biologists of our Institute.
This search has a slight emphasis for four main axes of research:
(i) bio-mimetic systems of cell functions with reconstituted assemblies;
(ii) multi-scale coupling in tissues;
(iii) signaling, population dynamics and evolution (with a particular emphasis on cancer phenomena);
(iv) methodological developments for the control and study of cell environment, including novel imaging techniques.
However, applications from all areas of experimental biophysics will be considered.
